With the rapid development of the 3G network and Internet technologies, applications of multi-network integration have appeared in large numbers. It has brought unprecedented change to people's lives. However, the web client of the prototype system that our laboratory built for Natural Science Foundation of "Universal Service Platform Project 973" cannot support all kinds of network terminals to access. It cannot provide sufficient business logic for conference control. In order to make the web client support a variety of network terminals and enrich the web client's business logic, modification and reconstruction is required.First, this thesis explains its background and meanings. It briefly describes the problems of the old web client and the modification and extension need to be done to the web client. Next, it introduces the main technologies which are used in the modification and extension. After that, this thesis presents the functional and non-functional requirements in the new web client. After that, by analyzing the requirements of the new business logic and studying the architecture of web service and method, this thesis introduces a method called two-way Web Service to solve the issues encountered when developing the new business logic. After that, this thesis gives the designs and implantations of the new business logic. At last, by running a large variety of test cases, this thesis verifies the stability of the web client and its new business logic. Finally, this thesis points out the future research work and improvement to the new web client.
