Design And Implementation Of IMS CTD Service Platform

With the rapid development of the Internet, the traditional telecom operators hope urgently to broad the business to the Internet in order to seek new growth point. Internet users also hope to be able to use convenient and reliable telecom network service. The convergence of telecommunication and Internet become an urgent need. And the CTD (Click to Dial) service is exactly a kind of typical interchange scheme.Users can make a CTD dial-up service through Web Page, which by clicking or inputting two phone number. And the CTD server is responsible for establish the call connection between these two phone numbers. The CTD service which locate in the IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) network is called IMS-CTD.The CTD service platform encapsulate the CTD dial-up ability into APIs and open the APIs to the Internet developers. By comparison with other telecommunications applications or Internet application, CTD service can realize the converged combination of communication and the user experience.The IMS-CTD service platform is implemented on this paper, which focuses on design and implementation of two-level service integration gateway and CTD call logic server. The opening REST (Representational State Transfer) API and Web Service API. The CTD call logic server run the CTD dialing call control logic with the IMS-CORE network.This paper is divided into six parts to introduce the design and implementation of the IMS-CTD service platform.The first part introduce the concept and background of the IMS service and CTD service; the second part makes a brief introduce of the related technology; the third part introduces the requirement analysis, functions and service scope of the CTD platform; the fourth part is about the design and implementation of the CTD platform. Firstly combining with the overview raises the two level architecture design of the CTD platform, secondly explains the detailed design of the modules of CTD call logic server and two level service integration gateway and gives a brief description of the protocol of REST; the fifth part describes the test work of CTD platform; the sixth part the next work and suggestions for improvement is put forward.
