The scale and traffic of the campus network is gradually expanding. All kinds of applications are not uncommon. A single CERNET access can not meet the bandwidth needs of teachers and students. In order to increase the export bandwidth and link redundancy, each college introduces other ISP (Internet Service Provider) to meet the growing demand on bandwidth. But, campus introducing multilinks belongs to multiple exports gateway. Multilinks give me only enough bandwith. If there is no effective and reasonable link choosing options, users in LAN can't get high quality service. For certain campus network environment, realizing choosing the best link is important for the effect use of campus resources. Multilinks gateway load balance technology is using a reasonable selection of links to reach the load balance.At present, although there are some commercial multiple export gateway load balance products, those products can't meet different need in different environment. Therefore we need a practical and special export gateway load balance scheme. But previous load balance solution is for the link status and the status of servers. The main research of this dissertation-The Research on Load Balance a Multiple Links Gateway-put forward a new method to choose the best link and use the reasources effectively.The main work as below:First, analysises the existing multiple export gateway technology, introduces the research background, domestic and international situation, main research content.Second, introduces load balance technology, concept of cluster and load balance, and some commonly used load balancing algorithm, etc.Analyzes the network system structure and Linux routing system.Third, put forward the new export scheduling method. Build the campus network simulative environment. And test the new methods in simulative environment.Verified the feasibility of the new method through collecting the relevant datas.Fourth, after the analysis of the network systerm structure and routing cache of Linux, put forward the routing cache optimization to improve the hit chance, and improve the speed of surfing on Internet.
