WuXi Unicom network is the foundation of in modern enterprise information technology. All the hardware and software of basic information systems are hosting on it. It is also the basis to ensure uninterrupted operation for all information technology services. So information services department must provide high availability of the WuXi Unicom network. With the "green IT" presentation, information services have to consider energy conservation, the introduction of virtualization technology aims to provide a great help. Through the use of server virtualization solution that not only can greatly reduce energy consumption, but also upgrade usability.First current status of information technology on WuXi Unicom is analyzed. The virtualization technology can address energy saving and high availability requirements. The virtualization technology and advantages are introduced, in this based on the virtualization-based technology to build virtual PC service cluster program. Detailed description of the VMware vSphere virtualization technology to achieve hot standby cluster distributed architecture and switch scheme are descript, after that multi-exports routing, NAT, access logs, and information systems are designed on the basis of virtual machine cluster. A program is given, which is based on virtualization technology overall WuXi Unicom network to solve more export routes program. Through the actual deployment and testing show that this program be built fully redundant network routing, equipment failure at a single point and some more equipment failures can be automatically switched to ensure uninterrupted service.The main contributions include:1Based on the actual situation of the WuXi Unicom network:more exports, a small bandwidth, less capital, energy saving and high availability requirements, make use of server virtualization solutions built using the Linux virtual host more virtual routers export method.2To achieve a high availability cluster virtual server deployment and management solutions, the availability of possible failure analysis and processing strategies.3More than the Linux kernel routing table based on the design of the OSPF protocol support modules, and design a visual graphical interface for maintaining multiple routing strategies and interfaces.4Control the Linux kernel through the graphical interface. Users can access network by a virtual gateway by customize strategy used to choose the quickest route line. The virtual gateway with OSPF modules can interact to the neighboring router form a whole route network.In system design, general router operation through the command line, but this is a complete Linux kernel, you can develop strategies to improve the graphical interface for ease of administration route. The virtual router can not separate from other adjacent routers exchange information, so the development of OSPF plug-in. By pluging it in core, it form a complete route network.
