Data processing is a crucial element of development and utilization process in information resources. With the development of the software system scale, the software architecture research has also become an optimal way to improve software efficiency and to solve software maintenance problem. As the key department of national economy, Power System also faces the problem to optimize the system structure and improve the efficiency of the system. With the rapidly increasing of electricity data and the fast expanding of the scope of management, data processing ability and the flexibility of system expansion have become an important part of power informatization construction.Component technology is the main research contents of software system structure. The reusability of component and the flexibility of systems assembly have a good application prospect. COM(Component Object Model) does not refer to any operating system and languages but software framework, which is made by Microsoft. If the requirement of application is changing, there is no necessity to modify whole application but component. It improves the efficiency of software development.Based on the study of component technology, combining with the.net framework, we choose COM component model as the main research object, and extract components from Power Quality Data Processing System. Design six kinds of COM components, including domain general components(UploadDataComponent and AnalyseReportComponent) and domain specific components (AccessDataComponent,SteadyCalComponent,SagsCalComponent and SynAsseComponent). Through the use of component will greatly improves the efficiency of the system and software precision, and virtually reduces the defects of system. The adhibition of COM component increase good expansibility and flexibility to system deployment.
