With the computer and communication networks becoming increasingly popular, the security of information has become much more important, which makes secure communication become one of the key technology in communications areas. Chaotic signal is especially suitable for secure communication because of its unique periodicity, periodic, continuous broadband spectrum and noise-like characteristics. Implementation of Chaos synchronization has provided the theoretical basis for the chaos secure communication, making the research of chaos synchronization and its application become a potential high-tech.Based on in-depth study on chaos theory, a new three-dimensional chaotic system is proposed in this paper. Its characteristics are researched with theoretical analysis and simulation. Besides, a linear feedback method is designed to realize synchronization. On this basis, a new method of chaotic synchronization is presented in this paper, which utilizes the amplitude of the driving variable to control the response system to achieve chaos synchronization. The effectiveness of the synchronization method is verified by theoretical analysis and simulation.The new method can achieve the chaos synchronization only with the absolute value of the driving variable, regardless of its polarity. This makes it possible to transmit information with chaotic polarity. So it will be great significance in chaotic synchronization communication. Based on the new chaotic synchronization method and combined with the characteristics of chaos shift keying, this paper proposes a new Chaos synchronization communication method. The method uses information signals modulate the polarity of chaotic signal without changing the amplitude of chaotic signals. In this way the signals can transmit information simultaneously with the establishment of synchronization, and overcome the problem that communication rate constrained by the synchronization time in the chaos shift keying communication system, so the methods can achieve high communication rate. The numerical simulation shows that the method is an effective chaotic communication method.
