With developing of the national economy, the consumption of mineral resources in China reached an unprecedented high, especially in the mining industry in recent years, the rapid development of the mining of mineral resources in China has put forward higher requirements.In the process of mining mineral resources, mineral ores containing useless or little useful ingredients and can not be used, so they need a scalar value given to measure the quality of ore, ore grade is an Unit content of integral part of metal or useful, which is a scalar value of measuring the quality of ore. the high ore grade means there is lots of active ingredients inside, on the contrary, it shows that the active ingredient content is low. if the ore grade can be calculated in mining process by some method and then make use of the grade to guide the production, which will raise the efficiency of ore's mining.The ore grade measurement system can keep measuring of the ore's grade automatically when the train doesn't stop and display the data in real time, what's more, it not only can store the effective data to the database, but also can according to the daily business processes and business needs, in order to complete business workflow, the system equipped with relevant functional modules. the system consists of hardware and software components, the part of hardware mainly through conical shear plug hole sensor measured the weight of ore and the volume of ore is measured by ultrasonic ranging sensors, the part of software responsible for receiving and storing real-time data and complete the relevant functions based on business process. with the use of the measurement system, we can not only quickly and accurately determine how high the ore grade is and guide the production, but also can make the sector more standard in managing, which will undoubtedly improve the enterprise's core competitiveness.Through the field visits, research and according the characteristics of the system function, we use the dialog-based MFC application as the system interface which is in Visual C++ 6.0 integrated development environment. This article describes the software model of system development, the design of the system architecture and the related technology used in the system.in the finally, we introduce the design of the system's database.in the part of the system's realization, at first we analysis the functional requirements of each module, and then introduce the various functional modules, particularly the measurement and statistics module are the key points among the several modules.After a trial run, it shows that the system is running well and achieve the desired effect, Which will have some practical significance in promoting the development of mineral resources in China.
