Abstract/Summary:
Development of tourism has brought a significant contribution to the world economy, such as the total income, employment, appreciation, investment, tax and etc. In China, as a new industry though, the tourism has turned out to be one of the pillar industries in our economy. After nearly 30 years of development, in parallel to the continuous growth in the industrial scale, it is publicizing an excellent technical character and has been one of the fastest developing areas in national economy.At present, facing the arduous tasks of industrial structure optimization, growing mode innovation, quality enhancement and development, the tourism is in the urgent need for transition from extensive management to intensive management, from quantity expansion to quality updating, from basic needs meeting to high quality tourism service supporting.Just under such background, the system fully consider to improve the quality of tourism services, the greatest to meet the taste of tourists, giving full play to the mobility advantage of mobility for wireless Internet technology, the realization of automatic tourist device of tourist attractions in the mobile termination. Mobile phones, as the most commonly mobile terminals at present, also provide a favorable reality basis in realizing and promoting the system with the popularity of 3G technology. The system can better meet the needs of individual tourists for some service which traditional types of tourism can provided, can also mitigate the problems of shortage of guide resources. Especially in the Golden Week and other peak tourist time, a self-service, intelligent guide system will be even more needful. It can almost substitute the traditional following guide, each visitor will have its own separate end-use, avoiding the tour guides to meet the needs of most visitors but can not take care small number of tourists that have special needs. The system connected with server through mobile communication technology, easy for managing tourism information unified and communicating each other directly. And visitors can easily located their position through GPS positioning system, can check other tourists condition to avoid attractions peak and identify attractions position automatically then make introduction. On the management side, the guide can view all visitors location situation only by system terminal avoid following visitors.In this paper, I introduce the structure of the Android system and describe the significance. Not just an open-source mobile operating system, but also Android system is the mobile terminal platform, including operating systems, middleware and applications, it also describes the Android stack software architecture. From the bottom(Linux kernel) to the top(the application software) the architecture is designed as the operating system layer (OS), libraries and the Android running environment (RE), application framework and applications. OS controls Android's Linux kernel including security, memory management, program management, network stack, driver models and etc. The libraries and RE are implemented by C++. providing the abstract services for the upper. Application Framework provides API for the developers and varieties of necessary controls. Android applications are mainly used by the users, usually programmed with JAVA.System design also follows the standard software development process, in accordance with needs analysis, outline design, detailed design, system implementation and hierarchical testing. This article describes needs analysis, detailed design, and system implementation in detail. In the needs analysis, using UML use case diagram carrys out a detailed description of the needs analysis of the system with dividing the system operation into three parts as Tourist, Tour Guide and Administrator, which also illustrates the relationship among the three in a visual way. In the detailed design, the system embraces System Display, Controller and Data Mode on the basis of the MVC design method. They are realized by the server-side, mobile terminal and user interface. The server-side performs the function of data mode and partial function of controller. It is in charge of receiving and executing the request from the mobile terminal, transmitting the information of the chat room and accessing to database. Performing the functions of controller, mobile terminal is used to connect to the server, provide chat function and in charge of order and management. The user interface is for displaying, including three levels as login interface, user main interface and function interface. Additionally, there are three classes of transport protocols:Command. Request and Feedback, all of which achieve serialized interface to accomplish the transport protocols with object flow.Finally I make a conclusion and an outlook for mobile guide system. It is assumed that multimedia technology should be widely applied in our guide system. With the rapid development of computer technology, embedded devices are robust enough to run multimedia programs steadily. Using this kind of guide system, tourists will have more intuitive and profound feeling of the attractions. Improving users'feeling, offering better service in tourism guidance. Multimedia technology is the new challenge.
