In recent years, with the accelerated pace of the society, all kinds of accidents increased significantly, making the growing number of people with disabilities, install the appropriate artificial limb (including the bionic arm) is the best choice for their integration into society. However, the artificial limb on the market is not only expensive but also too simple function, so it is not suitable for people with disabilities.The subject from the Key Technology Development Project of Jilin Province(20090350) "with temperature, tactile-slip telepresence research and development of the bionic arm", The system is to design a bionic arm system with temperature and tactile-slip perception, which includes temperature control perception and tactile-slip perception. It enables people with disabilities perceive the temperature of the contact things and the slide tactile touch of Bionic arm and the contact things.Basing on the requirements of the whole system, this paper completed the following work:1. Made the whole system design, and on this basis, some key components were selected.2. Completed the hardware and software design of temperature perception, using MCU C8051F320. Taking into account the temperature characteristics of large inertia, the system software used the fuzzy control algorithm. Took Difference between the temperature and the change of the difference as input variables, based on fuzzy control strategy, to control cooling and heating devices temperature, achieved a good result.3. Completed the hardware and software design of tactile-slip perception. The system selected piezoelectric material PVDF as the tactile-slip sensor. The sensor outputs tactile signal and slip signal are mixed together. Used fuzzy control to differentiate tactile signal and slip signal.4. Completed the system experiment and analyzed the result. In this system, the fuzzy controller were designed with the help of the MATLAB fuzzy logic toolbox (FIS), it brings great convenience from the design to observe the effect.In this system, temperature perception and tactile-slip perception are integrated reasonably. It has been proved to be steady and reliable. It can bring great convenience for the disabled.
