Nowadays the semiconductor laser has been widely applied in many areas. However, different application environments need different laser powers. Here this design can applied in different working environments, employing series output of multi-low power semiconductor lasers to get higher laser power, and adjusting numbers of the semiconductor laser to realize successive change of the laser power. This paper mainly aimed at manufacturing semiconductor laser series-wound group's driving device to ensure stably reliable work of the semiconductor laser. Since the multi-semiconductor lasers used in the design are the same specification, we think their parameters are mostly the same. That is, we can realize the stable work of the series group by controlling only one semiconductor laser.This device mainly receives the data from the A/D converter with FPGA controller. The received data,compared with the initialization, transmits the processing results to the D/A converter. FPGA can control the port circuit such as LED displays,keyboard too, making the system controllable. Hardware circuit design mainly employs modular design approaches, such as constant current source circuit, driving circuit of mosfet, power sampling circuit, V/I conversion circuit and and the port circuit of FPGA with A/D converter D/A converter LED displays. Nay, we especially increased the slowly startup circuit protecting-circuit,the temperature control unit in this design aiming at the semiconductor laser's "delicately". These design can ensure the driving device to drive the semiconductor laser series-wound group stably, well and truly, reliably and safely. The main contents of thesis are as follows:(1) The thesis analyzes the progressing history of the semiconductor laser and it's main application, it makes us understand semiconductor laser haply, and simply introduces research status of the semiconductor laser by driver power at home and abroad.(2) The thesis lucubrates the working principle of the semiconductor laser. It expounds the damage mechanism of the semiconductor laser systematically, including internal factor and external factors, the points for attention of using semiconductor laser are obtained.(3) According to the semiconductor laser requirements about power,it designs a driving device about series-wound group of semiconductor laser. The device adoptes some small power semiconductor laser, whose quantity is controlled by the driving circuit of mosfet.(4) The hard module circuit in the design system, including Constant Current Source Circuit, slowly startup circuit, driving circuit of mosfet, power sampling circuit and V/I conversion circuit, doing some analysis with them. The thesis designs driving circuit and protect circuit in the temperature control unit, analyzes detailed anti-interference measures of the system.(5) Investigating in detail FPGA which is the core controlling implement and it's characteristics, designing and analyzing the connection circuit,such as A/D, D/A, Monitor and Keyboard, introducing simply the using devices.(6) Introducing the configuration mode of FPGA, describing the state transition of ADC0809 by VHDL,output control of the DAC0832,static display of monitor. Analyzing PID control algorithm of temperature.(7) Making some experimental analysis according to test result, and then drawing the conclusion.
