Traditional medical examination has been using manual management. There is repetitive, error-prone, labor-intensive, and need to summarize large amount of information, efficiency is very low, every Member of the examinees are not detailed health guidance, and so on shortcomings, Particularly the number of the examinees are very large and the time is concentrated in University Hospital check-up. The thesis study on the University Hospital information management system,integrating the computer technology, distributed processing technology and database technology to realize the registration, doctor workstation, information management, health analysis, information maintenance, system settings and so on.The system combines the feature of the University Hospital check-up, Relying on the advantages of the network and information management,take examinees as working center, take physical examination project as work flow,take health analysis as emphases,make the work of the medical examination more standardized and automated.University hospital medical work requires a high reliability, security, portability developing management environment, Moreover the hospital resources are quite scattered, operating system's kind is variable, the system can resolve the heterogeneous environment of interoperability is key to the problem. And the use of distributed object technologies can enhance system interoperability, provided by the heterogeneous nature of the problem can be easily resolved. Therefore, this thesis uses the distributed object technology—CORBA technology,using the client, middleware CORBA, the application service to construct the system, using SQL Server as database background, complete with CORBA middleware, Visual C++/object-oriented language to complete the entire front-end development. The system is divided into five modules,that is the foreground interact, common interface, naming services, back-office services and back-end database.The system uses database technology and distributed technology, complete the examination work efficiently, and gives a daily health or medical therapy, or recommendations, the different levels of solution on the basis of the examination result. The system requirements for equipment, versatile, and can be widely used in large, medium and small medical examination units, including health promotion and analysis features can also be applied to community health clinics.
