Wireless sensor network is such a network that consist of a lot of sensor nodes which are cheap, it is a kind of computer network composed of many automatic devices that randomly distribute, these devices use sensors collaboratively monitoring different kinds of information such as smell, temperature, humidity, sound, vibration, pressure, motion and pollutants. The development of wireless sensor network initially started in the battlefield monitoring and military applications, now it is used in many civilian areas, such as environmental and ecological monitoring, health surveillance, home automation, bio-medical, disaster relief, remote surveillance of danger zone and traffic controlling. Now, it is of concern and involved a frontier and hot research field that is a high degree of cross of multi-disciplinary and highly integrated knowledge; we can see that these applications can not do without the support of positioning technology.Currently, the research of wireless sensor network localization technology is a hot spot, this technology has not matured. Localization technology is mainly divided into two categories:distance-based localization and localization without distance. In this paper, my research is based on the distance-based localization methods, the method in this paper have improved the previous method in the cost and accuracy. The main work includes the following aspects:1. I studied the present localization algorithms of wireless sensor network which are based on distance and compared them in detail, then, I studied the localization algorithm based on mobile anchor nodes which combined the different distance measurement methods, specifically, I analyzed the localization algorithm based on RSSI,TOA,TDOA,AOA distance measure algorithm.2. Due to different areas, there will be different geographic shape, so we should choose right trajectory to insure high coverage, in this paper, I make research on the trajectory of anchor nodes of the localization based on mobile anchor nodes and design three kinds of trajectories.3. The process of hyperbolic positioning algorithm is complicated, in this paper; hyperbolic curve is replaced by asymptote. I derived the asymptote line equation of general hyperbolic curve and design the localization process of asymptote line algorithm. Then I make the simulation of the method of Localization asymptote, through simulation we found that asymptotic line positioning is better than maximum likelihood method, besides, the process of localization is simple, so the cost is low.
