Nowadays,with the rapid development of embedded system, more and more embedded devices are used in industrial control, intelligent household, etc. Meanwhile,with the development of network technology, embedded devices' accession to local area network or the Internet through networks has become an development trendency. Therefore,the designation of built-in Web server has important practical significance.Based on embedded technology, remote monitoring system were designed in this paper. The system uses B/S (Browser/Server) architecture. Embedded Web server was formated by transplant the TCP/IP protocol stack in embedded devices, all of this made the embedded devices can directly access Internet, Users can monitor the remote embedded devices through the browser. This paper's work are as follows:(1)Design the system:Analysis the development situation of domestic and international remote monitoring embedded Web server, design a simple file system and separate the embedded applications and Web compilation; Meanwhile, combine the advantages of CGI and SSI, design CGI expansion module, make the dynamic interactive web pages become thue. AJAX technology was used.So,we do not need to download the entire page, this can help to reduce the Web date traffic. In addition, AJAX technology can also reduce the workload of server.(2)Design the remote terminal hardware:In this paper, hardware designation used the idea of modularized designation.On the base of the realization of the Ethernet communication, I designed the field bus interface, so that the system can access to the fieldbus network; Meanwhile, in order to reduce LM3S8962 micro controller's storage pressure, SD card store circuit was designed; All of the irrelevant micro controller interfaces were used to system extension.(3)Design the remote terminal software:Transplant TCP/IP protocol stack in the server side,in order to make system access the Internet; Design file system and expand CGI, realize Web server functions; Write web which contains AJAX technique in the browser end, complete the man-machine interface and achieve dynamic interaction.(4)Use system:Based on the remote monitoring embedded Web server realized by this paper, I designed the remote environment monitoring system used in the network computer room, which can remote monitor and control computers distribute in different physical locations conveniently.In this paper, the system was tested by the Iris network traffic analysis tools. The results show that this systerm has the basic remote monitor functions of embedded Web server, this system can achieve design goals and make the efficient embedded Web server come true.
