With the development of wireless technology, mobile Intenet applications have developed at an unprecedented rate, people can access to Internet anytime and anywhere. However, multimedia technology as a key mobile Internet application issues severe challenge in bandwidth, network congestion and delay.In order to solve this problem, people attach more and more importance to mobile multicast and its security technology, which becomes a hotspot of current international research.In this thesis, mobile multicast and security technology has been done in-depth research.The main research works as follows:Based on the study of mobile IPv6 protocols and the multicast rooting protocols, the whole scheme of mobile IP multicast and security has been presented in this thesis,including the fixed multicast routing protocol PIM-SSM,mobile multicast handover algorithm based on MLD protocol and group key management scheme.We design the scheme of mobile multicast management algorithm,which makes the best use of the two basic mobile multicast schemes——Bi-directional(BT) and Remote Subscription(RS) based on MLD protocol. In the group key management, we expand IPSec module, and make it support multicast; we also use a multicast security system based on CA authentication and a dynamic layering group key management algorithm. This algorithm is security and efficiency.It has no additional requirement of multicast elements, and lower in communication cost and computation cost.In order to verify the correctness and feasibility of this scheme, the scheme is implemented and verified on NS-2 simulation platform. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of NS-2, the simulation of mobile IP multicast and security is designed,and it is divided into four parts, including the simulation of multicast routing protocol PIM-SSM protocol, the simulation of MLD protocol, the simulation of mobile multicast handover management, the simulation of group key management algorithm and so on. The simulation results show that the scheme has good feasibility. The influence of the group key management scheme on the efficiency of mobile multicast communication is very limited. The scheme can solve the realization of mobile IP multicast and its security.
