SOPC (System On Programmable Chip) is a flexible and efficient solution for SOC. It is also a new system design technology which relies on both software and hardware coordination. Embedded systems based on SOPC have advantages of small size, low power consumption, excellent performance, high reliability and so on.With the developing of computer science. and image technology, digital image acquisition is widely used in communication and signal processing field. After nearly three decades of development CCD has matured as an electro-optical imaging technology and has been used more and more widely in scientific research, manufacturing and testing, medical biochemistry, national defense and other related fields. At the same time as the imaging device with CCD the applications of camera and image acquisition system are very extensive.After analyzing the function requirements of system, the thesis demonstrates the realization of CCD image collection system, and it proposes a realization of image collection system of large Matrix-CCD based on SOPC, then the system workflow is described and the hardware circuit of acquisition system is designed in detail. SPI interface to the AD9925 configuration, SDRAM and USB Slave FIFO interface to control functions are designed at logic in the design method by using Nios II custom peripheral IP Core, and they are packaged into the standard peripheral modules which Niosâ…ˇcan call directly While CCD image data acquisition-processing-cache control process is designed at logic and realized. At last, after analyzing the collection system workflow, it designs the implementation framework of control program and completes control program based on Nios II, then on the Nios II development board it tests the functions of the acquisition system to verify the correctness of the design.
