As color information is applied in relative fields more and more widely, Scanner and digital camera are the two important input device of image, people raise a higher request for the quality of color reproduction of them. This paper researches the calibration of scanner and digital camera, As for the calibration of scanner, On the base of polynomial region-division calibration method, The paper put forward an improved method of polynomial recursive region-division calibration by preprocessing the sample data, Deleting the sample that mass on the boundary of color gamut. Experiments showed that new method can increasingly improve the measurement precision; as for digital camera, a new region-division calibration method was proposed based on a modified calibration model of polynomial regression and used for color managements. This paper dealt emphatically with the modification of the polynomial regression model, Experiments showed that the strategy of automatic region-division calibration can increasingly improve the measurement precision.
