With features of strong projection of day and night, all weather conditions, long-range and high-resolution imagery, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging has become more and more widely used in military and civilian fields. Simulated and real data are used to compare and analyze the performance of these classical imaging algorithms. At first, some basic concepts and principles of SAR imaging were introduced in this dissertation. Secondly, two classical SAR imaging algorithms with simulated data and real measured data are verified in the dissertation. To improve the image quality and construct appropriate reference functions, Doppler parameters estimation is introduced. Then, with the estimation of Doppler parameters, dimensional scene image with accurate position and high focus performance is obtained after range migration correction for imaging processing. Finally, taking the practical applications of imaging algorithms into account, airborne and spaceborne SAR data are processed with the conventional imaging algorithm. We analyze the experiment results and give conclusions. |
