Design And Development Of Reliable File Transmission Module Based On UDP In Networking Director System

This paper mainly introduces design and development of reliable file transmission module based on UDP(User Datagram Protocol) in networking director system. Now, networking director system mainly uses TCP(Transmission Control Protocol),the speed is slow and it can not transfer to multiple clients. This paper uses the rapid character- istics of UDP,overcomes its shortcoming of unsafe.The file transmission module provides rapid, stable and reliable services.Reliable file transmission module based on UDP needs to overcome the disad- vantages of the timeout, lost packet,disorder problems caused by UDP and realizes the function of timeout retransmission,file verification on the basis of file transmission. In order to improve the system response speed, the development mode adopts client /server.According to the development mode and the function, we divide the system into three modules: protocol module, file transmission module, communication module. Protocol module is mainly used to communicate and defined communication command both sides.The file transmission module is used to manage the file transmission and divided into many submodules. The communication module realizes the communication function, the communication mode is asynchronous.Test results show that this module realizes the function of file transmission, this method solves the timeout, lost packet problems caused by UDP protocol. It has extendibility characteristics. Compared with using TCP protocol, this method shortens the transmission time and improves the speed on the premise of transmission quality assurance.
