Research On Calibration Technology Of EMC Pretest Chamber

As EMC testing has become more and more important during the process of product development. In order to know and promote the EMC proficiency of products previously, many companies have built their own EMC pretest chamber. However, due to the test environment is different from the inspection department, there are some certain errors in the final test results.In order to analyze and solve these problems, first of all, this paper introduced the concept of laboratory proficiency testing, and then got a qualitative assessment of a laboratory by comparing the laboratory measurement. Secondly, based on the theory of mathematical statistics and SPA, this paper also proposed the correlation coefficient, similarity index, peak retention, mean square error and degrees of connection parameters to explain the laboratory differences in multi-angle and full range ways. Finally, there is a brief description about the test equipment calibration during the process of the EMC pre-tests, and then regression theory and interpolation theory have been applied in the environment calibration electromagnetic of the electromagnetic compatibility pretest chamber. In conclusion, this paper has demonstrated the feasibility and effectiveness of the research through laboratory tests and comparison between the proposed evaluation parameters.
