Because of the importance of the electromagnetic compatibility test in the productdesign process, the application of EMC pretest chamber is more and more widely used.The differences between EMC pretest chamber testing data and standard laboratorytesting data and the technology of calibration are analyzed.Firstly, the reason for resulting in the differences between EMC pretest chambertesting data and standard laboratory testing data is analyzed. Based on characteristicsof EMC testing curves, discrepant indexes which are used to describe the difference oftesting data, such as similarity coefficient, peak retention, and connection degree, andconsistent criterion are proposed. It figures out the problem of the lack in quantitativeevaluation diversity of testing data. Secondly, according to the characteristic ofconducted emission, the calibration of testing components, such as LISN and thehigh-pass filter, is presented. As for radiated emission, in the first instance clusteranalysis method is applied to predict the effective radiated power of the equipmentunder test, then on the foundation of polyline regression theory, polyline regressioncalibration method of power revised is proposed. Finally, method in the paper isapplied to testing data of some device in EMC pretest chamber, which validates thecorrectness of the method.
