Along with the rapid development of radar technology, radar system of diversification, complication and various system of comprehensive utilization, electronic countermeasure faces increasingly complex electromagnetic environment. How to do signal sorting is an important task for radar detector, which face with the more complex signal environments, this paper mainly studies key algorithms of signal sorting, and the computer simulation was conducted. This paper mainly includes the following aspects:Firstly, complex signal environment, faced by radar detector, was described at length; the digital simulation of hostile radar signal is performed. Parameters especially for PRI, which can be used for signal sorting, are determined detailedly. And the time domain characteristics, the frequency domain characteristics and spatial domain characteristics of radar signal are analyzed in detail, the above provides theoretical foundation for signal sorting.Secondly, in all algorithms of radar signal sorting, parameter PRI is one of the most key parameters. This paper introduces several common "classic" algorithms, including CDIF, SDIF, PRI transform, plane transformation algorithm, and so on. These "classic" algorithms are simulated and their advantages, disadvantages and application conditions are analyzed.Thirdly, in fact, pulse signal environment exist pulses loss and much bigger PRI jitters. Traditional signal sorting algorithms fail in above situations. The paper presents a new signal sorting method named independent component analysis (ICA) algorithm. Paper analyze the basic principle of ICA, simulation analysis under different conditions are made with MATLAB, the simulation results show that this method do well in radar signal sorting, with more complex signal environment, so ICA have a much big application prospect.
