As one of the anti-jamming measures of Pulse-compression Radar, Sidelobe Blanking is widely used due to its well performance and simplicity. The SLB technology is efficiently in suppressing low duty cycle and high-power pulse jamming entered through by Radar antenna sidelobe. However, comparing with the other anti-jamming measures, researches on the jamming techniques against SLB are still limited.This dissertation is focus on the jamming techniques against Pulse- compression Radar using Sidelobe Blanking. First, the theory and characteristics of LFM Pulse- compression Radar are studied. Analysis of the method of sidelobe suppression of pulse compression is made. Sidelobe suppression effects with different window functions are analyzed and compared via simulation. The theory of the typical SLB system is discussed theoretically and experimentally. The effects of the key parameters of SLB to radar performance are studied. The principles of parameter selection are concluded. A three logic simulation model of SLB system is established. Common Radar jamming measures are studied. The emphases are put on the analysis on the theory and characteristics of the radar's transmitting false target jamming and the frequency-modulated jamming. Jamming effects against SLB system using transmitting false target jamming, Sine-wave FM jamming and Sawtooth-wave FM jamming are simulated. Based on the Simulation results, the effective jamming techniques against to SLB system are given.
