With the development of computer technology, embedded system technology has become the fastest growing and the most widely used technology in information industry, it has become a field of important part on the network communications, industrial control, consumer electronics, medical electronics and transportation systems.This paper introduced an embedded power control system software designed in the digital microwave equipment and made an analysis of the specific application of the ARM7 MCU andμC/OS-II operating system in this embedded power control system. According to actual needs, I designed a Bootloader and on-line upgrade for the system. On that basis, the application program were divided into multiple tasks which can run independently, the paper discussed the creation of each task, how to set the priority and the stack and how to schedule the tasks ,and elaborated the message processing and the interrupt mechanism works in detail. After that towards the system core function of power control, I discussed the specific control requirements and power control algorithm used by, giving the corresponding solutions. In this paper, the summary of the development and application based on the ARM7TDMI-S processor, as well as transplant the embedded real time operating systemμC/OS-II to ARM7 LPC2138 chips also have some reference value for the development of other ARM chips programming.
