LXI is the new generation bus for test system, which is based on using Ethernet technology. The LAN interface which meets the LXI criterion is added to the system, so as to constitute a new type of instrument bus standard. LXI bus technology breaks geographical restrictions, which use the rapid development of the network technology in recent years to well adapt to the needs of control system. It has a very important practical value in scientific research, production, and military field.This paper is based on ARM9-LXI programmable power supply. So it is necessary to learn the ARM9, Linux operating system, and carry out the study of the LXI standard, especially the class C. Complete the transplant transplantransplant of the Linux operating system, solve the problem of serial communication from ARM9 to MSP430. Control the embedded Internet technology and complete Boa server on Linux migration, study web language and CGI program, put forward a complete LAN interface solution. And also do some research on the programmable power supply, supply and design the plan of the rectifier filter section part, the regulator part, the short-circuit protection, keyboard and display part, the serial communication part and the auxiliary power supply part for the hardware and software of programmable power supply. Finally, to improve the function of LXI instruments .This paper presented the implementation scheduling of this system, and put forward the plan and assumption of the unfinished part and the finished part worthy of perfection.
