| With the rapid development of computer technology, embedded systems have been used in network communications, consumer electronics, industrial control, national defense and other fields. Embedded systems have been applied to all of areas such as human work and our life, and have a very broad application prospects. The ARM is the industry's leading provider of 16/32-bit embedded processor technology, whose products current hold more than 75%of the embedded RISC market. The ARM has become the leadership position in the low-power, low-cost embedded application market. The research and development of the ARM-based embedded systems have an increasingly important practical significance for us.Viscometer is a physical instrument for viscosity measurement of the fluid. Viscosity is an important physical parameter to measure the capacity of the resistance to the flow liquid, it relates to the fields of industry and defense. It is an important means, of industrial process control; improve product quality, conservation and development of energy. The viscometer have some requirements; such as the accuracy, real-time and others, when measuring the viscosity. The embedded technology has the advantages of intelligent, dedicated and real-time; the advantages applied to the industrial for developing embedded viscometer, which adapted more to modern industry. The purpose of this paper is design an embedded viscometer which processor based on ARM-core, the viscosity Measuring in range of the 1-108mPa·s which can meet the measurement requirements of liquid viscosity in industry. The AT91SAM7S64 which is the ATMEL Company is selected as the system's control unit; the stepper motor is selected as the power of embedded viscometer. In addition, embedded viscometer is connected to PC via USB Module, which makes its applications more convenient. The instrument achieving the design expected basically. In summary, this paper studies the design of an embedded viscometer which based on ARM-core. The paper has a certain significance and reference value for the design of the embedded viscometer in industry. |
