Design started from the Early of 20th century as a subject. As the arrival of the information age, virtual product design has appeared. From web page design to the current internet design, it has gradually turned to be complex. Now it is a method to offer product and service through internet.Design was related to culture since it came into society. Culture is a combination of human material wealth and spiritual wealth that created by the human which design is indissolubly linked to. The traditional design of China has strong local features, but the internet product design is currently dominated by imitating the United States and Japan and South Korea, without our own characteristics. The study of the internet product design across culture is still in a stage of exploration, however, many multinational companies have faced the dual impact of globalization and multi cultural exchanges while design product for different countries. The internet design of China is also changed from fully study to Self-knowledge, in order to design product that is suitable to Chinese.Cultural differences, which are often overlooked, are an integral part of the internet design. This diplomarbeit analyzed and summed up the definition, structure and design flow of the internet product at first, and then filtered out the Cultural Research status and compared the different cultural background, then concluded the cultural dimensions that can be used in the internet product research. Then I mentioned the culture dimensions should be considered in the user satisfaction research, rather than simply using the investigation, only in this way will it be possible to truly understand what the user wanted. The final part is a research example- MSN, by a questionnaire to some Chinese, Japanese, Americans; I completed the data analysis to find out the Culture Factors which made the evaluation to be different and the results from the questionnaire.
