Focus On The Chinese Liberation

Public Life weekly magazine that was the second magazine to promote the national liberation movement was found by TaoFen Zou after Life magazine, who was one of most famous Chinese reporter and publisher. Because linked and reflected the epochal theme closely, and especially had unique program settings, the sale record of Public Life was up to 200000, which was the top record in that time. However, there are not many researchers paying more attention to this magazine, just few studies talked about it, when it introduced TaoFen Zou or illuminated his thoughts.In this article, I will try to use content analysis to analyze the magazine. First of all, I analyzed the group of main writers. In this study, I found the group of magazine main writers not only had higher cultural level, but also had the same standpoint which was to service the public life. Secondly, I analyze the features of Public Life. There are the characteristics of the weekly title, such as pictures of the world,public mailbox,weekly comment and so on. There are special content for national liberation. There are unique and important page. Thirdly, I will take 12·9 movement as a single example, from the number of reports,content and standpoint these three part to analyze the magazine how to play the guild role in the national liberation movement. Finally, I found the TaoFen Zou's thoughts in this period had some developments. For example, he was from a democrat into preliminary of Marxism.
