With the nonlinear power electronics widely used in the power system, harmonic pollution became more severe than before. Harmonic pollution reduces the power factor of the power system and impairs power supply quality and operation safety.Considering the reality of harmonic pollution and low power factor of the power system, power filter is an effective measure to compensate harmonics current.comparing with the PF sets, APF has the higher controllability and faster response,because the cost of APF is high, hybrid active power filter is widely used in high voltage system.SRITHAF(Series Resonant Injection Type Hybrid Active Filter) is proposed in this thesis.The research background and the status quo of hybid active power filter at home and abroad is analyzed at the first beginning of this thesis, the major circuit topology and the basic operating principle is introduced,Moreover, major parameters of the elements are caculated and selected, approach based on theory of instantaneous reactive power is introduced in details.According to present control algorithm of Hybrid, the SVPWM(Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation)control is selected as control strategy. PI regulation is selected as the control method of the voltage on DC side.Besides, some hardware circuits of the SRITHAF are designed, including the synchronization sampling circuit, the IGBT driven circuit, the communication module, the power supply circuit, the switch input and output circuits, and so on.From the results of the simulation, the SRITHAF is good enough in harmonic compensating and power factor improving.
