During the Asian Games in Guangzhou, weather reports timeliness and accuracy is essential. Therefore, meteorological information exchange platform for the construction of the Asian Games has played a pivotal role. Among them, meteorological data receiving software is responsible for extracting live weather data from the raw data file, then putting them into the Asian Games special database (Oracle) after the quality control. Other related softwares are to extract data from the database for further processing. As the quality of weather data receiving software directly affects the construction of other related softwares, so to ensure that meteorological data timely and accurate storage, is the primary task. In addition, the data storage of meteorological data receiving software, automatically generates meteorological products through real-time weather products generation software, products for the Asian Games venues in the weather live display software, before the carousel, it is necessary to monitor the meteorological products, when the weather products not arrive on time to sound the alarm so as to enhance quality assurance of meteorological products.Through careful study concurrent multi-process under Linux and FTP multi-threaded download technology, achieve the reception, testing and treatment of a large amounts and high-speed meteorological data in the information exchange platform for the Asian Games, simultaneous monitoring of meteorological products. Specifically, the main works in this paper are as follows:Firstly, as the new added files are of large amount, more informative, faster transmission frequency and high transmission time requirements, concurrent multi-process technology and the file trigger mechanism are used to design and implement meteorological data receiving software. Meanwhile, through comparing a variety of inter-process communication technology, we choose the message queue communications technology as to improve the timeliness of the system.Secondly, concurrent multi-process technology is used for background monitoring of meteorological products, FTP uses multi-threaded download Technology to download the latest alert log, and the alert log information is analyzed and stored. Alarm client obtains the latest information, sound the alarm.During the Asian Games, the system is stable, effective delivery the meteorological services.
