Image signal is often interferted by many kinds of noise when produced, transmitted and recorded. It has seriously affected the image of the visual effects. Denoising noise is a basic content in image pre-processing and denoising impulse noise is an important part of it. The Median filtering, which we usually use as traditional method, is a non-linear filtering methods.It is normally considered to have good performances on removing impulse noise.However, the existing median filtering algorithms normally have poor performances on protecting the image details.Especially these algorithms may cause serious distortion in the images which are highly corrupted by the impulse noise.This thesis expounds the major study on salt-and impulse noise filtering algorithm. The main tasks of this paper are as following:1.The traditional nonlinear filter-median filter understood carefully, based on the traditional median filter, the weighted median filter, the min-max median filter, the adaptive median filter, their advantages and disadvantages understood, made the appropriate improvements. The result have been high-density impulse noise filtering algorithm to improve based on the fuzzy weighted, and study its main performance. Simulation result show that the algorithm has a bettet image denoising and details of the protection performance.2.Studied the color image to remove impulse noise problem. By analyzing the value relationships among parameters in color space, color similarity coefficient is defined to measure degree of color similarity between two kinds of color, then an algorithm of measurement of color similarity is brought forward. It is simple and realized more easily.
