This topic of control system of folding machine is R & D for FEIXING Tianjin Technology Development Co., Ltd, including hardware circuit design and software programming. The control system of folding machine can be achieved the functions of different binding edges and different folding sizes. Folded dimensions which include vertical and horizontal folding of A3, A4 sizes cope with different binding edge, can achieve with different binding edge of A3, A4 folding.This issue focuses on the folding machine working principle and design of control system hardware and software.Folding machine hardware circuit includes CPU control circuit system, keyboard, display systems and motor drive systems. The CPU control circuit including the sensor detection system, CPLD decoding the signal system and the 8255 programmable timer system. The MCU uses ATMEL Corporation AT89C52 produced by 8-bit microcontroller, receiving data from sensors and key detection signal and interrupt signal, and transmiting control signals real-time to the motor.Sensor part consists of six end sensors and two slot sensors.The end sensors used to detect the location of sensors, and real-time feedbacking to the microcontroller to control the stepper motor moves, while the slot sensors play guide when the drawing entered in folding stage . CPLD decoding signal system is mainly generated decoding chip select signals to strobe latches and the chip needed to control by microcontroller, in addition to strobing some control signal. Keyboard and display part consists of eight LED cathode digital control, 6 normal buttons and a MAX7219 chip. MAX7219 is a serial input / output common-cathode display driver. Microcontroller in the keyboard display system using serial communication to transmit data signals to the MAX7219, the use of MAX7219 to drive the digital tube display. The button is used to select the size of folded and binding edges, as well as E-STOP. Common cathode nixie tube is used to display the selected the size of folded and binding edges. Motor control system is composed of two stepper motors to complete, by two stepper motor driver to control. Stepper motor start-stop and the positive inversion signal is generated by the MCU; stepper motor speed is controled by the programmable timer M8253 ,which generate different square-wave frequency pulse signal to.In the software, the master chip AT89C52 program using assembly language to write, including the main program of folding machine, system testing procedures, interrupt handler, keyboard display program, the last few folding processes, as well as stepper motor control and size of the calculation procedures.. CPLD chip using VHDL language to write programs.
