Design And Implementation Of Student Management System Based On Visual Basic. NET

With the rapid development of computer technology and information technology, its application domain has penetrated into all walks of life. The position of Management Information System in all enterprises and institutions become more and more important. As an important force in the information construction, colleges and universities are playing an important role and coming to the forefront to promote the development of information management technology.In this paper, we put forward the development of a new online student information management system based B/S structure, for there are some problems exist in our school current management system during its operation and maintenance. And we are eager to have a new one to adapt to the future development of our university strategic plan. Chapter 1 mainly describes the research background, the meaning and application value; chapter 2 introduces some relevant research results and related technologies to achieve the system; chapter 3 describes the analysis and design of the system based on 00 in details, and use UML Unified Modeling Language to describe it; chapter 4 describes the realization of the system, including system configuration files configuration, database operations and system deployment; chapter 5 describes some key issues and technology during the process of system development, and provides the corresponding solutions; chapter 6, the development of the subject of this project are summarized and prospects.To develop the system, we use ASP.NET technology to implement it. Visual Basic.NET is the front-end development language, and we choose SQL Server 2000 as the back-end database. In the Object-Oriented system analysis and design, we use UML modeling language to express the system. We the use the open source tool StarUML for modeling and use PowerDesigner tools for database design. We also use AJAX technology in order to achieve the client's asynchronous operation.The system has realized the student records management, elective management, performance management, curriculum management, teacher management and other functions. It has developed a user-friendly, functional, simple operation, convenient maintenance of management information systems. It can effectively improve the efficiency of the work of teaching educational administration.
