Only in this way can we better suited to the hinterland of the need of economic development, so as to further strengthen the regional economic radiation and influence, play a better role in driving the binhai new area of radiation. Efforts to build a port in north China opening doors, a high level of modern manufacturing and r&d transformation base, northern international shipping center and international logistics center.Subject of this paper the design and development, mainly for Tianjin Port Container Terminal current business needs and operational processes, do more detailed research and business needs analysis, research and development operations in keeping with standard Tianjin Port Container Terminal Management System for production operations. System consists of six functional modules:1) that are easy to send and receive EDI message system; 2) complete the basic operating system functions; 3) dynamic real-time intelligent operating system; 4) a comprehensive business cost and efficient collection system; 5) flexible simple access control system; 6) timely and accurate statistical data system. The main framework of the system using C/S two-story structure, and to three-tier structure for aid. System using PowerBuilder front-end development tools and VC, the background database using Oracle, through real-time middleware for the carrier to achieve message passing, a lot of technology and the use of graphical database stored procedures, triggers, increased data processing in real time.At present, the system has been in the Tianjin Port Alliance International Container Terminal, Tianjin Port Pacific International Container Terminal, Container Terminal in Tianjin, Hong Kong, Europe and Asia into formal operation. System can meet the needs of terminal normal production operations, significantly reducing labor costs and operating costs, improved efficiency of terminal operations, and improve the effective utilization of terminal stockpiling, use the system terminal has been well received and approved. With the deepening of the application, the system will further improve and strive to further improve the management level and service quality.
