The Fee-collecting System In Tianjin Port Container Terminal

This paper introduces the achieving method of fee-collecting system in Tianjin Port Container Terminal. Differing from that of other sectors, it has a strong characteristic concerning container operation. It is due to the development of Tianjin Port that this topic has been put forward. With the introduction of new business management software, it is necessary for the container terminal to up-date its fee-collecting software to improve its service and to fully develop the function of its business software. Thereby, the Container Terminal Company has developed a new fee-collecting system through the efforts of its own technical staff. There are five chapters in all in this paper.Firstly, the background of the topic is stated in three aspects. The feasibility and the necessity of the project and also the concerning trade know-how of the container terminal are both set forth.Secondly, in the research work of the systems, the problem of the original one is analyzed, and the design and development background of the new one is also introduced.Thirdly, the system is divided into four modules, each being designed in terms of functioning flow. The respective functions of the four modules in the whole system and the relation between them are stated in the most detail.Fourthly, a full plan of the program in regard to the realization of the four modules is clearly put forward, and a practical and feasible data-statement table is also introduced.Finally, this paper gives a brief introduction to the expansibility and actual functioning of the system.
