OCDMA is a technology which combine the CDMA technology with optical fiber communication technology.It fully utilizes the enormous bandwidth of fiber resources and the advantages of CDMA so that the transmission rate of the communication system is improved greatly. And it is one of the hot researches in fiber-optic communication.The design and research of optical address code is one of the key technologies in OCDMA.Uses is distinguished through the optical address code which should be orthogonal or quasi-orthogonal as well as got by the related operations at the receiving in OCDMA system. Whether the characteristics of the optical adress code is good decided the the performance of OCDMA system also the complexity of the coder and decoder.Therefore, the topic of this paper is optical address with which we have the following discussion.First of all, this paper has introduced the basic principle of OCDMA systems,as well as its key technologies and the development at home and abroad.lt is also made the comparation and summarized with several multiplexing technology in the current optical fiber communication field.Secondly, one-dimensional optical address code and two-dimensional optical address code had more in-depth research studied one-dimensional optical address code and two-dimensional optical address code word of the construction algorithm, characteristics and so on.Studies have shown that every codes has different characteristics,and the two-dimensional optical address code's characteristics is better than the one-dimensional optical address code.Lastly, this paper have studied the SAC in order to solve the MAI.The SAC-OCDMA system has been built based on the performance of SAC and made the functional simulation by the optical communication system simulation software named Optisystem7.0.The results has shown that SAC-OCDMA system could effectively eliminate the MAI.The construction of OCDMA+WDM codes has been studied, It is proved that OCDMA+WDM communication system could improve the petformance of communication system.
