Application And Research Of The Key Technology Of The Expressway Toll Lanes Control System

The toll collection is an instrument to recover the expressway construction funds and control the traffic demand. But the increasing traffic and declining efficiency of the original backward tolling system cause mistakes of leak and less and all sorts of malpractices problems. So it can improve the efficiency and quality of service to analyse and research a more advanced and perfect expressway toll collection system. Then it will reduce the highway construction investment and improve the traffic capacity and service level if doing well the toll lane control system. Thus it will establish good service and improve the expressway system of overall economic and social benefit.The thesis analyses functions and requirements of the toll lane control system and researchs a series of key technologies. And it uses the Finite State Machine, the JPEG2000 image processing technology, the sortable queue and the Reverse Polish Notation to complete lane logic processing, to estimate traffic condition, the vehicle driving state judge, image processing, data transfer and query and calculation of rates. And the thesis also brings forward the design scheme of the system based on the operating environment of the toll lane control system.Based on a variety of key technologies, the thesis solves some problems such as the logic part of lane software can transform logical state with various triggered news by the rules, and process is clear and stable; Also the transmission performance and pipelining data timing problem are solved; The captured images have a good quality and a high compression ratio and can be embedded in the custom information; and it can adapt to possible future rate formula. And the research improves efficiency and intelligent, has a high practical value.
