Radar is the most basic of the marine environment and the system detection tool,however, because of its limitations making it in the VTS system can not play its role well. Automatic Identification System (AIS) will cause the emergence of a major reform of VTS technology, AIS information and radar information exchange and integration of target information to make better, more reliable, which will help to build a wide waters intelligent traffic management systems and ship safe navigation information system. Therefore, this paper mainly focus on AIS and radar information exchange and integration issues are discussed and studied.First, the paper describes the exchange of information between the VTS system, meaning on this basis, describes the classification of VTS system information, and then analyze VTS structure and the exchange of information on the VTS at home and abroad, based on the proposed uniform standards for information exchangeSecond, the introduction of a common information fusion model and the application of various models, a comparative analysis of the structure of the various convergence characteristics and the integration level of classification, followed by three kinds of track correlation algorithm for comparison and simulation analysis, according to the characteristics of this article , select the MK-NN algorithm for track correlationFinally, the paper around the AIS and Radar Data Fusion in the key technology areas carried out a study and submit a track filtering, track correlation and fusion filtering algorithm and uses simulation for performance verification, there is a practical reference value obtained experimental data, the last of this issue requires further study the technical prospect.
