The space optical communication is a technology concerned at home and abroad. The space optical communication requires to capture, to track, and to target and then the communication, when the tracking accuracy can not meet the requirements, it will the increase the link power margin, the requirements of the optical maser power, or it will be unable to come up to the expectations of the speed and the error rate, even the communication will not be realizable, therefore, to search, to capture, and to track (APT) are the core optical technology. To verify the performance of the system APT, generally it will be necessary to detect the accuracy and the performance of the communication after the integration of the ground system of the space optical communication system.This paper describes the composition of the optical communication system and its work, in which there is a more detailed description of the composition and working principle of the APT system. According to the characteristics of the APT of the optical communication systems, the author compared and analyzed several options for tracking accuracy tests, developed an experimental method to test the accuracy of tracking of the space optical communication, and angled at the method a test platform has been established, with which the experiment was accomplished and the optical communication tracking accuracy tests is realized.
