The paper studies and designs a system, it's primarily function is monitoring and recording the information of the laser target designator aimer's track and aim operation real time, and by handling this information, computing the error of aim operation. According to the results, the skill of aimer could be judged. The parameter is important basis for failure analysis and guidance accuracy evaluation when precision-guided weapons are in the approval test period.Considered the two requirements of the real-time and the precision, this paper designs a series of solution which is from the structure of real-time track monitoring system to algorithm to detect and locate target. Image processing technology is the paper research key which includes detecting target by template matching,locating the target centre coordinate by projection and correcting systematical error and so on, resolving the problems that the target is far away and the contrast of target and background is low. At the same time, This paper discusses that the theory about measuring parallelism of the two device optical axis which are laser target designator and real-time track monitoring system, designs optical axis calibration which is optical machinery structure that let the two optical axis parallel. It also designs the reference center (electric cross centre) of real-time track monitoring system. With this method we can calculate the target pointer coordinate. So we could calculate the error results.
