Laser diode-pumped solid-state laser becomes a hot international research, because of its high efficiency, reliability, long life and compact structure, etc. And high-repetition-rate, high peak power narrow-width green light laser is one important potential market. It has a wide range of applications in the laser navigation, CD-ROM technology, information processing,medicine and many other fields, for which we conduct a theoretical analysis and experimental study on diode-pumped high-repetition-frequency electro-optical transfer Q (KD*P), intracavity frequency doubling (KTP) laser.In this paper, direct determination of probe beam method is used for dynamic measuring the thermal focal length of Nd:YAG laser, under the same frequency and different injection current, experimental measurement is consistent with the theoretical values. In the injection current of 78A, when the repetition frequency is 1000Hz, pulse width of 12ns is obtained and the Q-switched output energy is 10.1mJ.Use KTP for Typeâ…ˇphase-matched intracavity frequency doubling,obtained 5.28mJ of the 532nm green light output.
