In the current informatization times, software technology is expanding and level of information is increasing, enterprises and institutions had achieved the preliminary basic informatization. Demand of people for informatization is not just stay in the use of software to handle routine office work level such as the repetitive works. Faced on the "information islands" formed by internal information systems, new problems emerge in the office automation domain:how to resolve the various departments, and between business systems and processes related to the integration of business data problems, how to solve the problems of business processes'complexity in information system.Through service-oriented architecture, workflow technology and Web services-related technology research, this thesis found a feasible plan to solve the above problems. Layered design model as reference, service-oriented architecture as the guiding ideology, encapsulating the business logic, calling RESTful Web services, to build a service-oriented workflow management system prototype. The system uses some popular open source frameworks. It uses JBoss jBPM4 as the workflow framework and a java rest framework called RESTEasy2 to implement RESTful Web services. After the system is designed, it will be tested in an actual project environment, and will integrate with an OA system. Because the prototype system is based on the idea of service-oriented architecture, its integration with the OA system is no need to make changes to the original system, but just write some configuration files. The business logic is encapsulated as a service and it can be called by the local or remote system. Even if the business logic changes, as long as the interface is same, they do not need to change. Finally, using an application process as the example, the system's operating results are displayed and analyzed, we get a satisfactory result.
