According to statistics, there are huge requirements of navigation products for the blinds at present. And there are more and more goods for blindmen, especially the intellectualization technolegy apply to these new products, for example, the Intelligent Navigational Tactile Stick(INTS), the Intelligent Reader. In space with the more and more apperancing of these products, it becomes the core technology to how to generate GPS navigation information for the blinds.In this paper, it adopts GPS technology to receive the localization information. In the embeded platform, the system abstracts the valid information, and acquires the geographic information at any time it's needs. At the same time, this paper proposes the method which is anlyse the shortest route based on the data of path layers. The system applies the Dijistra method and optimaze this method, outputting information of every nodes as the navigation information for the blinds.In this paper, it selects the chip which has high precision, which is to satisfy the blindmen's requirements, the method can improve the precision for receiving. The system processes the path layer's information, which is to satisfy the portable characteristic of products, for the products mainly is the embeded platform. The system optimazes the Dijistra method in the masses data, which is to satisfy the generating of navigation information for the blinds.In order to understanding the structure of electronic map data, this essay also reaserches how to read the mapinfo form data. In the platform which the essay designed by ourself, it establishes the OPEN table,CLOSED table to how to find the shortest route. Compared with the relative algorithm, it selected the better method to apply in the system.In this paper, it summarizes the methods of development of GPS technology come from abroad and domestic, and it abstracts the localization information by the standard format of NMEA. Compared with popular commercial software for Integrated develoment environment (IDE)in GIS domain, at last the essay decided to make the supermap as our tool. In the final system, it takes the Dijistra method to analyse the electronic map data, save the information of every nodes which is generated by the shortest route, reporting the relative road condition which is restoring in the map data and the important point which is restoring in the point layers.This paper combined with the general electronic map data, and it collected a great amount of experimental data, to prove effectiveness of proposing and implementing new methord, to improve the precsion of outputting the navigation information. At last, this paper summarize the conclusion of how to generate the GPS navigation information in the masses map data, and how to improve and perfect this technology in furture.
