With the continuous innovation and development of Internet applications, Network worm and other high-performance network security events is becoming more and more complicated, so that it is vulnerable to attack and results in abnormal network security events. Network security issues cause inconvenience to the majority of Internet users,even cause a huge threat to information security. Therefore, network security has become a hot topic of research, with the influence of cost, environment, labor and other factors, this research is often necessary in network simulation. However, with the development of the scale of internet, the condition of network is becoming more and more complicated, traditional network simulation technology can't meet the need of large-scale network simulation. To solve the problem, this paper uses NS2 network simulation software which is broader and excellent open-source version, and research high-performance network security event simulation technology.In NS2, the cost of network simulation is the main factor of restricting the size of network simulation. Therefore, network simulation security event needs two main factors to improve the performance: One is the route calculation of topology. The other is large number of discrete event of packet transmission. So this paper proposed the corresponding improvement strategy:Firstly, this paper proposes a improved route simulation strategy for the route calculation topology. In this main idea of improved route simulation strategy, all the nodes in the network simulation are divided into three types of nodes: core nodes, edge nodes and edge core nodes. For core nodes, this paper adopt a route simulation of global calculation and static storage; For edge nodes, this paper adopt static storage strategy, edge nodes participate in the address classifier settings selectively. Thus and so, it will be reducing the number of discrete events, at the same time downsizing the scale and time of the simulation.Secondly, this paper proposes a dynamic continuous calculation mechanism of RED algorithm for large number of discrete event of packet transmission. This paper improve the packet transmissions type of traditional RED queue management algorithm, the simulation of packet transmission is depicted by continuous computing to achieve multi-hop. Through judging whether there is a bottleneck path to determine whether should be continuous computing. Multichip continuous computing of RED algorithm reduces the number of discrete events, improving the simulation efficiency, and lowers the efficiency of simulation time.Thirdly, based on the above two improved strategies; a network security event simulation platform is established. Compared to traditional simulation application platform, it has higher performance, applicability, and other characteristics. Through the large-scale network worms'simulation, the simulation results are better than traditional.
