Abstract/Summary:
During the 1990s,Allan Collins and John Seely Brown proposed the theory of cognitive apprenticeship.Cognitive apprenticeship is a pioneering education theory when the education research was transferring, It has a wide range of applications in the fields of teaching, teacher training, education, vocational education remote and so on.It is a teaching mode can effectively improve the traditional education drawbacks. However, cognitive apprenticeship also have some inherent disadvantages,such as the construction of teaching situation.Virtual reality technique is a emerging technical discipline, it has a wide range of applications in the fields of education teaching.Because of the characteristics it has, virtual reality technique can create lifelike learning situations, provide interaction with the scene for learners. It is also because the virtual reality technology has these characteristics, which makes teaching mode of Cognitive apprenticeship improved by Virtual reality possible.Based on building virtual learning situation which is based on cognitive apprenticeship,our aim is to discuss how to improve the teaching mode of Cognitive apprenticeship with virtual reality technique.The article first introduces the meaning of situation, Virtual learning situation and virtual learning situation which is based on cognitive apprenticeship,then, analyzes and compares the current research at home and abroad, tells the teaching design of virtual learning situation,,analysis the feasibility, summarizes elements of virtual learning situation,at last discusses the constructing process of virtual learning situation which is based on cognitive apprenticeship by designing and developing the case system.After collecting the research literature and developing the case system,papers obtained the following results: (1)This study introduces the meaning of situations, study situation, virtual learning situation and virtual learning situation based on cognitive apprenticeship. Through comparing the status quo of the research at home and abroad,the study analyses the problems should be paid attention to.(2) The study builds the framework of virtual learning situation which is based on cognitive apprenticeship,then expound the content,method, order , sociality and virtual activity of virtual learning situation.(3) The study exploited a case system which is applicable to virtual learning situation.the case system is based on Virtools and ASP,after exploited, the designers put it in practice and analysed the application of results for finding it's advantages and disadvantages.The study combined the virtual reality technology and theory of cognitive apprenticeship,built the learning situation which is adapt to the modern teaching,found the way of improving cognitive apprenticeship.In this situation, learners are better able to learn.Due to the limit of time and technology,the case system has some faults.the designer will improve it in the future.
