| Visual sensing method based on laser structured light, is considered the most effective sensing method for seam tracking, has been a hot research field of welding control, and has attracted wide attention from scholars home and abroad. In this article, the preliminary studies of the technological bottlenecks which restrict its practical application are conducted based on summarizing the existing research results, and the effective solutions are proposed.The factors that affect the system real-time performance are analyzed in detail, and the effective solutions are proposed from the image processing algorithm. Extract the image ROI region to reduce the amount of image processing data, thereby reducing program execution time; Improve the program structure of the Otsu algorithm implementation procedure to enable more rapid implementation and will not affect the implementation results.The factors that affect the system suitability are analyzed, and the conclusion that image segmentation is one of these factors is indicated. The methods of automatic acquisition for adaptive threshold are discussed, and the Otsu algorithm is chosen as the threshold acquisition method based on the comprehensive comparison of various algorithms, it can improve the system adaptability without losing the system real-time performance.Because of the specificity of welding technology, all of the seam tracking systems based on laser structured light vision sensor have the feature of advanced detection. In other words, the control system is the lagging control system. In this article, the measuring principle of the seam bias information is analyzed, the advanced detection seam tracking process is analyzed in depth, and the relationships between the measurement data during the seam tracking are derived. On this basis, the design and development of the control system software are completed, including the upper computer control program and the lower computer control program, and the program details of implementation lagging control are analyzed in detail.In order to verify the effectiveness of these countermeasures presented in this paper, a laser structured light seam tracking test mechanical devices and control circuits are designed and manufactured. The seam tracking experiments are done with this device. The results show that: the real-time performance, adaptability and the tracking accuracy of the system meet the requirements. |
