| With the rapid development of modern information technology, enterprise information gradually became an important part of the core competitiveness of modern enterprises. How to effectively manage the data generated during operations becomes an important issue. Apply data warehouse technology in the complex business environment to mining information from the internal rules and vast quantities of effective data information by comparison and analysis.Based on metadata, this paper mainly focuses on the business requirements of data warehouse of sports lottery. Firstly, design the theme of the data warehouse, define the granularity of the data warehouse, and establish the facts table by topic;secondly, determine the dimensions which is the view people observed on data information; last, clarify internal and external data sources of the data warehouse, After clarifying the need target data and source data of data warehouse, ETL process is applied to achieve the data transformation and migration. Data warehouse using logical model of a star model which has good scalability and query response speed.This article expounds the advantages and disadvantages of ETL tools and manual coding to achieve extraction process, and puts forward the data extraction method which kettle calling the Stored procedure , it has good flexibility and cost-effective. Tests show that it has faster speed than kettle method. It operates the source data field of the business table directly and avoids data conversion errors caused by extraction tools by applying this method.The system was demonstrated to achieve requirements in three months of online in the aspects of report showing, query speed, business analysis, which is relatively satisfied by the Sports Lottery Center. The decision-makers can make decision for business development and market competition by data warehouse which provide scientific, accurate and timely data. |
