Remote application sharing provides a new approach for people to work together or achieve remote control, and the integration of multi-party remote application sharing meeting integrated with voice services is one of the core applications of multimedia communications. The study focuses on lower bandwidth occupied and more efficient transport mechanism, to achieve almost simultaneously sharing and synchronization of voice and share.This paper discusses the implementation mechanism of multi-party communication first, and then analyzes the multi-party communication model of Instlink multimedia communication system. On the basis of an in-depth understanding of the remote application sharing, the paper implements the multi-party remote application sharing system, and exploring ways to enhance system performance. The JPEG XR image compression algorithm is studied, and the progressive encoding and decoding of updating data for remote sharing is implemented, to achieve better compressibility and dramatically save network band resource. A media transport mechanism based on P2P overlay network is proposed, to resolve the imbalance network load caused by the one-to-many multicast model, improving the efficiency of data transmission.
