How to improve the laser beam and quality efficiency have already become oneof the kay of the study of the solid-state laser. Both the spatialdistribution of the pumpsource and the structure of the crystal decides thespatial distribution of the absorbedpump light in the crystal.Traditional laser crystal is uniform doping.Based on the four level laser rate equation, the effect of Gauss beam on thefundamental mode Gaussian oscillating light was discussed in the paper, the Overlapintegral of pump beam and low level Gauss oscillating light were calculated, and theeffect of the matching degree between pump beam and oscillating light on the outputcharacteristic was also analyzed.Secondly, in this paper, the related technology of the fibre laser,and used it to thestudy of the solid laser is studed. Then the absorbed efficiently of the three models iscalculated and contrasted. Finally,we get the best model. In the basis of these study,we propose a new kind of centres serve the crystal structure model in this paper, theanalysis of different shape with the case of crystals from the pump in efficiency. thenstudy centres serve the crystals of the laser output characteristics. These twocharacteristics includes the laser beam and quality efficiency. Next, based on the fourlevel laser rate equation,the Laser produced process was simulated by computer inthis paper.in the process, the pump pick pump beam as the pump, and the new crystalstructure pump source model cases pump spatial distribution, the last calculatedemulation for different from the center of the r and output parametersFinally, the numeric result and the related diagram are analysed in this paper. Theresults indicate that when the served radiu of the crystal is little, the outputcharacteristics of the solid-state laser are well improved.
