With the development of modern uncooled infrared imaging technology, the infrared imaging system plays a more important role in military filed and civilian field. However, because of the effect from the detection environment and the defect of infrared imaging device, the result of uncooled infrared imaging system isn't ideal, and can't fully play the advantages of infrared imaging devices. Therefore, in practice, we need to process the infrared images, to make it more suitable for observation of the human eye, and in order to lay a good foundation for following work.By the uncooled infrared thermal imaging system basic theory, the characteristics of the infrared images are analyzed, and then the commonly used infrared image spatial enhancement algorithms and the segmentation algorithms are compared and discussed. According to the characteristics of infrared image, this paper improves some algorithms, such as gray level histogram specification, Canny edge detection and Otsu threshold segmentation algorithm. This article verifies the effectiveness of the infrared image processing algorithms, and designs the digital image processing system for uncooled infrared imaging system for general-purpose. The system is? in normal working order, and has ideal effect for image processing. |
