Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) sensor has many advantages, such as small size, high reliability, immunity to electromagnetic interference and passive wireless communication. According to the working principle of SAW sensor, SAW sensor could be divided into two kinds: sensor based on SAW delay line and sensor based on SAW resonator. This thesis mainly does research on sensor based on SAW delay line and its wireless detection system.On the grounds of structural feature and working principle of sensor based on SAW delay line, this thesis designed temperature and pressure sensor based on SAW delay line respectively, and analyzed their performance. According to reflected signals'characteristics of sensor based on SAW delay line, this thesis established its wireless detection system, analyzed circuit structure and operating principle of wireless transceiver system, proposed controlling method of wireless transceiver system and computational method of sensor reflected signals. Finally, this thesis gived out the temperature and pressure testing results respectively. The experimental data shows that: hardware system can be used to measure temperature and pressure.
